Why Jesus was named “Jesus”

Reason for Name Jesus

We can say that every Christian is today aware of the mission that brought Jesus into the world.

He came through a mysterious way, defying the conventional process of biological conception.

His coming was for a defined purpose and this purpose gave rise to the name “Jesus”.

With the increasing influence of evil a question was asked in Heaven about who will come to save the world, heaven was mute till The son of God volunteered to be used to salvage the world.

This mission was the origin of his name Jesus which means savior.

Jesus’ lifetime on earth has brought a revolution and a movement which has affected the world at large and a saving Grace to the whole human race.
